Pocket is a close-range burst trickster who wins by closing the gap with Flying Cloak and unloading The Black Sheep's seven-pellet shotgun spread at point-blank. Their kit punishes clumps: Barrage launches slowing projectiles that build a stacking damage amp on Pocket, and Affliction drains nearby enemies' health over time. Enchanter's Satchel is both escape and threat — disappear to dodge return fire, then pop out for the spirit damage. Because they fight up close, stay unpredictable and treat every cooldown as a resource. They are squishy (780 base health and -15% spirit resist), so commit only when you have a way out.
Strong vs: Pocket is strong against clumped-up enemies, since Barrage's projectiles and Affliction both hit everyone nearby. They punish squishy backliners who can't escape a Flying Cloak teleport into a point-blank shotgun spread. Enemies that rely on healing suffer once Affliction is fully upgraded, because it prevents all healing. Isolated targets with no mobility are the easiest kills — cloak in, burst, satchel out.
Weak vs: Long-range pokers outrange The Black Sheep's close-range shotgun and can chip Pocket while they struggle to close safely. Heavy burst kills them fast given only 780 base health and -15% spirit resist. Enemies with reliable hard CC can lock Pocket down before they can Satchel or Cloak away. Anything with Debuff Resist shortens the Barrage slow and Affliction's drain, and dispels can strip Pocket's slows outright.
Ivy is a team-up support with a surprising amount of disruption. Her whole kit amplifies an ally: Kudzu Connection tethers her to a teammate so that both gain fire rate, bullet lifesteal, and replicated healing — every heal Ivy receives, her tethered ally gets a share of too. She stops enemy pushes with Entangling Thorns, and when a fight turns she can Stone Form to stun a clump of enemies and heal herself, or grab a teammate and Air Drop them into or out of a fight. Ivy is one of the most mobile heroes in the game — her innate reduces her gravity, and Air Drop is a flying repositioning tool — which means she can be wherever her team needs her. Play her as a second support who sets up plays, not as a frontline.
Strong vs: Ivy punishes grouped-up enemies and any team that wins by sustained pressure rather than burst. Entangling Thorns and Air Drop both scale with how many enemies are caught, so death-ball compositions walk into her best tools. She is also strong against dive compositions, because Air Drop can simply remove the target the dive was built around, and Stone Form drags airborne heroes back to the ground. Her replicated healing out-sustains poke-heavy lanes and makes a farmed carry extremely hard to finish.
Weak vs: Ivy's weakness is that her value depends on her teammates being alive and worth supporting. If her carry is dead or behind, Kudzu Connection has no good target and her damage alone cannot win a fight. Long-range burst that kills her tethered ally before she can react gives her trouble, and any silence or stun that lands on Ivy herself can stop her from Air Dropping out. Slowing Hex disables Air Drop outright, so heroes who build it can shut down her most important ability.
Pocket has the larger base health pool at 780, compared to 755 for Ivy.
Ivy has the higher weapon DPS at 60.542, versus 57.068 for Pocket.
Neither hero is strictly better — they fit different roles. Pocket is an Assassin and Ivy is a Marksman, so the right pick depends on your team composition, the enemy draft, and which playstyle you are comfortable with. Check the win rates on our tier list for the current patch.
