Lady Geist is a self-damage spirit bruiser who spends her own health to cast Essence Bomb and Malice, then refills it by draining enemies with Life Drain. She wants to hold medium range, chip opponents with her heavy-hitting Johann's Gift, and treat her health bar as fuel rather than a shield. Her whole kit is a loop: pay health, deal damage, drain it back, and hold Soul Exchange for the moment a kill is on the line. She lives in drawn-out skirmishes where sustain matters more than burst, and she wilts when caught without a target to drain. Play her patiently, keep a drainable enemy or unit nearby, and never overcommit when your health is the thing you're spending.
Strong vs: Lady Geist is comfortable into low-health backliners she can out-sustain, since Life Drain turns their damage into her healing while Malice stacks wear them down. She does well in extended, grindy fights where sustaining off a durable target matters more than burst. Soul Exchange is a nightmare for an enemy caught at high health, because it can slam them down and top her up in a single button. She also punishes anything that wants a long duel, since the longer you trade, the more Malice stacks and drain healing she accumulates. Give her a target to feed on and she simply does not run out of health.
Weak vs: Her low base health pool means concentrated burst can kill her before she ever gets a drain off, so heroes who can delete her in a short window are a real threat. Anti-heal and healing reduction items blunt Life Drain's payoff, and dispel or debuff-resist tools strip her Malice stacks. Silence and hard crowd control stop her from reaching Soul Exchange, and a well-timed Counterspell can catch the swap. Long-range poke that keeps her from closing to drain range is also a problem, since her kit wants a target within reach. Without a drainable target nearby, she has no way to refill and folds fast.
Dynamo is a supportive initiator who plays a half-step behind his team, healing them with Rejuvenating Aurora and repositioning them with Quantum Entanglement. His job in a fight is to set up picks rather than to frontline: he knocks enemies into the air with Kinetic Pulse and then catches the survivors. He is a medium-range heavy hitter with 880 health and no base bullet resist, so he survives by healing, spacing, and dodging instead of soaking damage. He can turn a lost fight with Singularity, a channeled ultimate that pulls in and stuns nearby enemies while dealing damage over time. Because Rejuvenating Aurora and Singularity are both channels, he wants to start fights on his own terms and stay clear of silences and stuns.
Strong vs: Dynamo shines against enemies who like to group up, because Singularity pulls in and stuns everyone caught in its radius. He is great against telegraphed burst ultimates, since Quantum Entanglement can be used right before an effect like Infernus' Concussive Combustion lands to nullify it. He also punishes low-mobility targets who cannot double-jump over Kinetic Pulse or instantly displace out of the Singularity pull. Any team that wins long, sustained fights will appreciate his healing, which keeps allies alive through extended pushes.
Weak vs: Dynamo struggles against instant-displacement tools, because Singularity's pull is continuous and can only be broken by effects like Paradox's Paradoxical Swap. Enemies who buy Unstoppable are a headache: it suppresses Singularity's stun and pull, drops Kinetic Pulse's move slow, and protects against future knockups. Anyone who can interrupt a channel threatens both Rejuvenating Aurora and Singularity, and the item Slowing Hex straight-up disables Quantum Entanglement. Nimble enemies can simply double-jump over Kinetic Pulse, and Debuff Resist shortens the knockup plus the pulse's secondary debuffs.
Lady Geist has the larger base health pool at 880, compared to 880 for Dynamo.
Dynamo has the higher weapon DPS at 48, versus 43.809 for Lady Geist.
Neither hero is strictly better — they fit different roles. Lady Geist is a Mystic and Dynamo is a Mystic, so the right pick depends on your team composition, the enemy draft, and which playstyle you are comfortable with. Check the win rates on our tier list for the current patch.
